Shanghai, China administrative boundaries

16 districts, sold as one dataset in GeoJSON, shapefile (.shp), DXF, GML, KML and CSV, on the same schema as the national layers.

Shanghai is a municipality, so the file has one level: 16 districts, directly under the municipal government. There is no prefecture row to join through, and the county-level units are the districts themselves. If a pipeline assumes three levels for every province, Shanghai is the case to handle explicitly.

The 16 polygons tile the municipal area without gaps, which makes the set useful both as divisions and as a single mask when dissolved. Each feature carries a GB/T 2260 code, name_en and name_zh, a center point and a bounding box, in WGS 84. The same geometry is written to every format, so a district selected in the CSV can be found in the DXF by its code.

All seven formats are in the zip: GeoJSON, shapefile with .shx, .dbf, .prj and .cpg, SVG, DXF, GML, KML and CSV. It costs $39.99, downloads immediately after payment, comes with a commercial license for one organization, and can be refunded within 14 days.
