License for China boundary data
What you can do with these files, which is most things, and the two things you can't: resell the data as a dataset, or republish it as a competing download.
This license applies to every dataset sold on this site.
You may
- Use the data in commercial and non-commercial work, including paid client projects.
- Modify it, generalize it, reproject it and combine it with other data.
- Publish maps, reports, applications and analysis made from it, without attribution.
- Install it on any number of machines inside the purchasing organization.
You may not
- Resell or redistribute the data as a standalone dataset, or as the substantial part of one.
- Publish it as a free or paid download that competes with this site.
Scope
One purchase covers one organization, including contractors and agencies working on its behalf. If you are buying on behalf of a client who will own the result, the client is the organization covered. Buy once, in their name.
No warranty
The data is provided as it is. Administrative boundaries change, sources disagree, and generalized geometry is not survey-grade. We make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and our liability is limited to the price paid.
Sample data
The free sample is licensed for evaluation and internal use only, under the same restrictions on redistribution.
