Qinghai, China administrative boundaries

Qinghai has eight prefecture-level divisions, six of them autonomous prefectures, and 45 county-level units. The county file is 7 districts and 38 counties. It is a sparse layer in feature count, which makes the whole province comfortable to load at once, and makes the file a reasonable test case for a pipeline before it meets a dense province. The eight second-level units are few enough to label by hand, which is rarely true at county level.

The second level is mostly prefectures, so a filter on 'city' returns two rows at most. Codes are GB/T 2260 and names are carried in both scripts; geometry is WGS 84 with label points and bounding boxes. Both files use the national schema.

Each level comes in GeoJSON, shapefile, SVG, DXF, GML, KML and CSV. City level $19.99; the county file is $39.99. The download link is issued at payment, the license covers one organization, and refunds are available for 14 days.
